Store Return & Exchange Policy
What is your return policy for in-store purchases?
To receive your refund to your original payment method, or merchandise credit, items must be returned in their original condition to any of our Abercrombie & Fitch or abercrombie kids stores in the US within 30 days of purchase.
VIP myAbercrombie members receive an additional 30 days, for a total of 60 days to make returns. Returns made after 30 days are only eligible to receive merchandise credit.
• To qualify you must already be at VIP status on the date you placed your order.
Please note that we do not accept returns or exchanges without a receipt, invoice, or order confirmation. If you no longer have your receipt, but your order was associated with your myAbercrombie account, we may be able to look up your original purchase details at the store.
Merchandise credit in the form of a gift card will be issued for:
Returns of previously exchanged merchandise
Returns of purchases made with a gift card
Returns of purchases with a gift receipt
What is your exchange policy for in-store purchases?
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to exchange items in-store. VIP myAbercrombie members receive an additional 30 days, for a total of 60 days to make exchanges.

If the size/color you want is no longer in-stock, you may return for a refund. Please note that we do not accept exchanges without your receipt, invoice, or order confirmation.
How can I return/exchange my items?
For easy and free returns/exchanges, bring your item(s) and receipt, invoice, or order confirmation to any Abercrombie & Fitch or abercrombie kids store in the US. Click here to find a store location near you. Merchandise purchased in-store* cannot be returned or exchanged by mailing the item(s) back to our stores or Distribution Centers.
*If you placed an order in store, shipping to your home, your order is subject to the return/exchange policies for Online Orders which can be found here.
What is your Holiday return policy?
With your original receipt, invoice, or order confirmation, merchandise purchased between November 1 and December 31 may be returned for a full refund of the purchase price to your original form of payment through January 31 the following year.
Are there return exclusions/exceptions?
Previously exchanged merchandise can only be returned for merchandise credit in the form of a gift card.
All sales of Gift Cards are final and will not be refunded.
- Products marked as final sale, custom products, or personalized products are final and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, cancellations or alterations. This does not include merchandise that is faulty, damaged, or does not correspond to its description.
Can I return items I purchased at an Abercrombie or abercrombie kids Outlet store?
Purchases made at an Abercrombie & Fitch or abercrombie kids outlet location may only be returned in an outlet location following the return policy outlined above. Purchases made at an Abercrombie & Fitch or abercrombie kids retail location may not be returned at an outlet location.
What is the price adjustment policy for in-store purchases?
We will refund the difference between the price you paid and the reduced price, if the merchandise meets all of the following criteria:
The price of the merchandise is subsequently reduced within 7 days of the date of your in-store purchase.
The merchandise is in its original condition.
You have the original sales receipt, invoice, or order confirmation.
To receive a price adjustment, please return to your nearest Abercrombie or abercrombie kids store with your merchandise and original sales receipt. Please note that only one price adjustment per item is permitted.
