This is a Movement Not a Moment Black Lives still Matter. We’re here for meaningful impact in a longstanding way.

We’re still listening. We’re still learning. We’re still actioning. Our commitment to equality will not change—we’re here for meaningful impact in a longstanding way. With that, we’d like to introduce The Abercrombie Equity Project, our new initiative dedicated to social and racial justice.

Our intention is to create a sense of belonging—to empower all voices and make an impact by generating funding, enabling change and sharing the experiences of underrepresented communities. Because we are dedicated to the equity and well-being of everyone. Because we are all made equal—and when we are treated equally, we can embrace our innate confidence to realize our fullest potential.

Because This Still Matters. Black Lives Matter.

As we continue to uplift the Black community, we are working on projects and partnerships with BIPOC non-profit organizations and content creators in order to establish meaningful ongoing relationships, which include long-term financial commitments in addition to the $200,000 we initially pledged. As these initiatives come to life, we are also consulting with brand partners from BIPOC communities to keep us on track and hold us accountable.

One of the first steps in our new initiative is to launch two video content series. The “A&F Conversations” series will focus on honest conversations around social and racial justice, and evolve to address topics important to us, our customers, communities and partners. The “hanging out with abercrombie” series is where abercrombie kids can team up with our friends to create family-friendly content and share positive vibes—but also focus on important issues like race and equality, using all our voices to create change.

We’re also actively recruiting and hiring in an effort to create a more diverse and inclusive workplace that improves upon industry statistics. Our new Director of Global Diversity & Inclusion, Gabby Royal, is dedicated to leading us forward as we continue to learn and grow as a brand—and continue our commitment to this movement for the long term.
