ELIGIBILITY: The Abercrombie & Fitch (“A&F”) #ANF125YearsContest (“Contest”) is open to US residents who are at least fourteen (14) years old at the time of entry. Void in Rhode Island and where prohibited. Employees and their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings or spouse, regardless of where they live, or persons living in same household, whether related or not) of Abercrombie & Fitch Stores Inc. (the "Administrator"), its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, contractors, distributors, sales representatives, retailers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any others engaged in the development, production, execution or distribution of this Contest are not eligible to participate. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participation in the Contest constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Contest Terms and Administrator’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Entries may be void due to legal constraints as determined by Administrator in its sole discretion (e.g. Contest is ineligible to be offered in a given jurisdiction, or prize cannot be shipped to a given address or jurisdiction). Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein and at Administrator’s sole discretion as to meeting eligibility criteria.

TIMING: The Contest consists of three (3) scavenger hunts (each a “Scavenger Hunt”) beginning at 5:00 p.m. local time and ending at 11:59 p.m. local time in the cities outlined in the chart below (the “Contest Period”):

Administrator’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Contest.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE: To participate in the Contest, individuals must have an Instagram account. If you do not have an Instagram account, it is free to create one. During the Contest Period, find the Scavenger Hunt posts on Abercrombie & Fitch’s official Instagram account. There will be one Scavenger Hunt post for each participating city that will provide (1) the longitude and latitude of the location where the A&F Limited Edition T-shirts are hidden; and (2) a combination code for a a safe. The Limited Edition T-shirt will be hidden inside the safe found at the latitutde/longitude indicated in the Scavenger Hunt post. Participants must use the combination from the Scavenger Hunt post to unlock the safe and find the Limited Edition T-shirt. For each Scavnger Hunt, twenty-four (24) Limited Edition T-shirts will be hidden in the same location. Availability of the prize is on a first come, first serve basis. Limit one (1) T-shirt per person. Participant, and not Administrator, shall be solely responsible for all travel costs for the purpose of participating in this Contest.
The Contest is a game of skill requiring participants to locate and obtain the prize during the Scavenger Hunt. No drawing, sweepstakes, raffles or other elements of chance are utilized to determine the winners.
IMPORTANT: USE OF A MOBILE DEVICE, CAMERA OR SOCIAL MEDIA WHILE DRIVING, CROSSING STREETS, OR IN OTHER DANGEROUS SITUATIONS IS PROHIBITED. ANY SUCH ACTIVITY IS GROUNDS FOR DISQUALIFICATION. AT ALL TIMES WHILE PARTICIPATING IN THE CONTEST, YOU AGREE TO OBEY ALL TRAFFIC AND OTHER LAWS, TO CONDUCT YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST IN A SAFE AND REASONABLE MANNER, TO RESPECT THE RIGHTS AND PROPERTY OF OTHERS, TO AVOID TRESPASSING ON PRIVATE PROPOERTY, AND TO BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN PERSONAL SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF THOSE AROUND YOU WHO MAY BE AFFECTED BY YOUR ACTIONS.
WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: The first twenty-four (24) people to locate and open the safe in each Scavenger Hunt during the Contest Period will immediately be awarded a prize. Odds of winning will vary based on the number of participants in the Contest. Receiving a prize is contigent upon compliance with these Official Rules. Administrator’s decisions as to the administration and operation of the Contest and the selection of winners are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. In the event that a participant is disqualified for any reason, Administrator will select the next eligible participant.
Administrator reserves the right (but is not obligated) to increase both the number of winners and prizes awarded at any time.
PRIZES: Each winner will receive one (1) A&F Limited Edition T-shirt and one (1) Field Notes Abercrombie notebook. There are twenty-four (24) prizes available at each Scavenger Hunt, for a total of seventy-two (72) prizes for the entire Contest. INDIVIDUAL ARV: $53.00 USD. TOTAL ARV: $3,816.00 USD.
Sizes, colors, and styles or merchandise will be awarded as supplies last at sole discretion or Administrator, who reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component with cash or another prize of comparable or greater value, but any substitution is not guaranteed and is at Administrator’s sole discretion on whether to perform any such substitution. Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use. Prizes will be awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by administrator.
GENERAL RULES OF PARTICIPATION: This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, and is void in Rhode Island and where prohibited or restricted by law. By participating in this Contest, the Participant agrees: (a) to abide by and be bound by these Contest Terms and decisions of Administrator which shall be final in all respects relating to the Contest, including without limitation the interpretation of these Contest Terms; (b) the laws of the United States and the State of Ohio apply to and govern this Contest and any claims must be raised and resolved in the federal or state courts located in Columbus, OH, United States; (c) if, for any reason whatsoever, this Contest, in Administrator's sole opinion, is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, to comply with legal requirements or by reason of infection by computer virus, tampering, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause which, in the Administrator's sole judgment, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, Administrator reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contest and limit entries to those submitted prior to the action taken, or to proceed in such a manner as may be deemed fair and equitable by Administrator in its sole discretion; (d) if such cancellation, termination, modification or suspension occurs, notification will be posted on the page where the Contest is listed; (e) Administrator reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the operation of the Contest, or to be acting in violation of the terms of this or any other Contest; (f) any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Administrator reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law; (g) Administrator is not responsible for late, incomplete, misdirected, delayed, or undelivered entries, or entries not timely received due to telephone failures, Internet or website failures and disruptions, and ISP problems; (h) submission of incomplete information may result in disqualification of entry; (i) Administrator's failure to enforce any term of these Contest Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision; (j) in the event of a dispute as to any entry, the authorized account holder of the social media account used to enter will be deemed to be the participant. The "authorized account holder" of a social media account, is the natural person who registered for the profile. The potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder, including but not limited to the proof issued by the social media platform; (k) winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and fees which may be associated with prize receipt and/or use; (l) Administrator's failure to enforce any term of these Contest Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision; (m) For a winner list, visit http://www.abercrombie.com/anf/media/legalText/AFContestsWinnersList.html. The winner list will be posted after all winner confirmations are complete.
Except where prohibited, entrant, or entrant’s parent/guardian if entrant is under the age of majority in their jurisdiction, agrees that: (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest or any prizes awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court in Franklin County, Columbus, Ohio; (ii) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (iii) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor Administrator in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Ohio, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Ohio or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Ohio.
NO LIABILITY/RELEASE: By participating or taking receipt of any prize, the Participant agrees to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Administrator and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, supplier, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively the “Released Parties”) from and against any claims made by participants, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Contest as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any surprise, participation in any Contest-related activity, or participation in this Contest in general. While it involves interaction with social media platforms, this Contest is in no way endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platform. You understand that you are providing your information to Administrator and not to social media platforms. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding this Contest should be addressed to Administrator and not to social media platforms. Any information collected by participating in this Contest shall be used only in a manner consistent with these Contest Terms and with Administrator’s privacy policy (https://www.abercrombie.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CustomerService?textKey=HELP_PRIVACYPOLICY&catalogId=10901&langId=-1&pageName=privacy&storeId=10051).
GRANT OF RIGHTS: By entering, and except where prohibited by law, you (or your parent/guardian if you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction) grant to Administrator (and any of its agents, affiliates or subsidiaries) the irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable, assignable, and unlimited right and permission, but not the obligation, to (1) utilize, reproduce, exploit, alter, edit, modify, distribute, publish, exhibit, digitize, broadcast, display, publicly perform, and prepare derivative works of the Entry in any form or media now or hereafter known for any and all purposes deemed by Administrator in its sole discretion to be reasonable and prudent uses for the purpose of furthering its valid business objectives, including but not limited to reposting the Entry online (e.g., on our brand websites and social media pages) and (2) use your name, online handle, and profile/avatar picture in connection with, or to reference the fact of, your Entry. You understand that your Entry may be edited in the sole discretion of Administrator. You represent and warrant that the Entry will not contain any third party trademarked or copyrighted material, or material that is subject to other third party proprietary rights, unless you have permission from the rightful owner of such material or you are otherwise legally entitled to post the material and to grant Administrator all relevant licenses and permissions to use the material as contemplated herein. You agree not to take any legal action against, and release and discharge, Administrator, and its directors, officers, employees, agents and affiliates, or any other person or entity acting on its behalf, from all claims in connection with the use of the Entry as contemplated herein.
POSTING GUIDELINES: Failure to comply with the following Guidelines will cause your Post, which could include photographs, videos, comments or other material to be rejected and pulled from A&F pages on social media and may result in you being permanently banned from posting on A&F pages on social media. The following Posts and subject matter will be rejected and result in immediate disqualification from A&F pages on social media: Personal Attacks: Personal attacks will not be tolerated. Disrespecting, insulting or attacking other users or Posts will not be permitted. It's okay for users to challenge an opinion or view, but ensure that it is done respectfully. Behavior/comments that may result in others feeling threatened or specifically targeted or abused will not be allowed; Discrimination: Discrimination or prejudice based upon race, ethnicity, sex, religion, disability status, migrant worker status, communicable disease carrier status, or marital status or pregnancy/nursing period status, and any other category protected by law will not be tolerated. Any prejudicial statements, behaviors, comments or remarks will cause the Post to be immediately disqualified and removed; Pornographic Material: Pornographic material and/or references to it are not allowed in Posts, and Posts containing such will be removed; Violence: Anything inciting or directly referring to violence, past violence or the threat of violence is prohibited and will be removed; Hatred: Constructive debate is allowed, but hatred towards anyone will not be tolerated; Libelous Statements: Libel is a statement or comment about a person or organization that cannot be proved to be true and may be considered damaging to their reputation and or interests. Libel will not be permitted; SPAM: Anything that disrupts the normal flow of chat. Examples: garbled or nonsense sentences, duplication of words and numbers. Cannot use the community in connection with surveys, contest, pyramid schemes, chain letters, junk email, spamming or any duplicative or unsolicited messages (commercial or otherwise). Posting under multiple nicknames is not allowed; Slang or References to Upsetting/Distressing Subjects: Slang referring to upsetting or distressing subjects will not be permitted and will be immediately removed. Such references include drug use, sexual acts of an indecent nature (and anything considered to be explicitly sexual in nature), references to religion, political beliefs, or anything deemed to distress the parents or guardians of users or anything deemed to be socially unacceptable in Administrator’s sole discretion; Criminal or Immoral Activity: Any mention of or reference to criminal or immoral activity will not be permitted, including Drugs, Prostitution, Fraud, Stalking, Extortion, and Terrorism.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in cellular networks, phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize or while traveling to or from any Contest or prize related activity. In the event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, Administrator reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by a random selection drawing among all legitimate, unawarded, eligible participants
